Overview of the "State and Society" Research Unit:

At the heart of intellectual pursuit and scholarly dedication lies the "State and Society" Research Unit, an embodiment of the continuous scientific endeavors initiated by the Laboratory of Law, Society, and Authority since its inception in late 2009. This visionary initiative was led by Professors Mohamed Bousoltane and CherbalAbdelkader, alongside their esteemed colleagues at the University of Oran during that transformative period.

What started as a modest venture with five research teams within the laboratory evolved dynamically. In 2015, responding to the expanding horizons of knowledge exploration, new research teams were established, augmenting the total to eight teams. This evolution symbolizes the unit's commitment to intellectual growth and scholarly depth.

Aligned with the mission to cultivate capable individuals poised to make meaningful contributions to scientific research, Professor NasreddineBousmaha assumed the role of project coordinator and director of the "Law, Society, and Authority" laboratory. Fueled by a shared passion for inquiry and discovery, he spearheaded a request to elevate the laboratory to a research unit focused on the intricate dynamics of "State and Society." This transformation aimed not only to recognize the unit's achievements but also to provide an enriched environment conducive to cutting-edge research.
