Research Teams

The EGEAT Laboratory "Geographical Space and Territorial Development" consists of nine (9) research teams :

1. Dynamics and Desertification of Arid and Semi-Arid Environments.
2. Space and Population.
3. Urban Dynamics, Image and Experience.
4. Regional Dynamics and Natural Resource Management.
5. Mobility and Urban Dynamics.
6. Dynamics of Steppe and Saharan Spaces.
7. Water and the environment in arid environment.
8. Territories and Societies.
9. Cities and Urban Structures.

These teams work for the realization of the three research axes of the laboratory, namely :

• Axe 1 : Physical and environmental dynamics of natural environments.
• Axe 2 : Regional Organization and Sustainable Development.
• Axe 3 : Urban-peri-urban transformations and city problems.
